Gold Business Cards…A Perfect Card For “The Man”

Gold Business Card

So you’ve been looking for a way to shmooze your boss, eh? Well then you probably should get a hold of one of his business cards and send it here.

These guys will take your business card, scan it in to their machines, and then create a replica of the card in gold. Now, the card will only contain 1 gram of actual “gold”…but who really cares. Your boss sure won’t.

At only $180, it’s certainly worth the killer raise you’ll get.

Quadrics – The ‘future’ of toys

Quadrics There is a new set of plastic toy figures coming out, designed by Maxim Zhestkov, that are making waves for their sleek, futuristic style.

Right now there are currently 2 figures in the series available with 2 more figures coming out later this year.

Each figure is about 8 inches tall and promises to take over your entire home. Really.

The figures are about $60 each and can be purchased from Fugitive Toys.

Umine Healing Theater

Umine Healing Theater So you’ve had a long day at work. You packed your lunch for the first time in 5 years in an effort to help yourself lose weight and save money and Joe Schmoe in the cubicle next to you railed on you the entire day. You got ticked and punched him in the face and next thing you know…you’re fired.

Okay, so maybe you’re day didn’t quite go like that…but you get the point.

What you need to help “heal” yourself from a bad day is the Umine Healing Theater!

This gadget, measuring in at around 6x7x6 inches, projects waves of light on your ceiling along with soothing sounds of the ocean to help you relax. Set if for 30 minutes, rest your head on your pillow, and take a few deep breaths. You’ll be relaxed in no time.

It will be available in mid-August for around $85 at HimeyShop.com.

Welcome to Decomodo!

First posts are always awkward. Seriously. We hardly even know each other and I’m supposed to write like we’ve been friends for ages. I don’t even know your name.

Okay, so I’ll go first.

My name is Josh. I run a little interactive design/development firm in Denver, CO. I’m originally from the dirty south (Mississippi). I love winter. My wife and I are parents to two pugs (Baxter and Sofia). I have a weird obsession with movies about apocalyptic size disasters. Most of those types of movies are made-for-TV type movies with horrible actors and cheesy special effects. They’re fantastic.

I started Decomodo mainly as a place to deposit all the random/cool/seriously-awesome stuff I come across day to day. I hope you like it and I hope to see you around in the comments!

Big gulps, eh? Well…see ya later.
