I have tried just about everything: lighting a candle, holding a matchstick in my mouth and placing a piece of onion on my head and nothing has worked for me yet! I am one of those that looks like her boyfriend just broke up with her, when I’m cutting an onion. The tears just pour!

I found this really cute new site that carries Onion Action Goggles. They are goggles that provide a seal around your eyes, so that the onion fumes don’t get to you. Very clever, but would it be stylish? Of course you would probably wouldn’t be wearing these in public unless you’re a chef in a restaurant.

You can get them in white, black or pink. I think they would be definitely worth giving a try. My husband would thank me, since I usually hand off the onion cutting to him.

Organic and stylish, these Wooden USB sticks are so original, from Dutch designers Guido Ooms and Karin van Lieshout.

What a great contrast to all of the metal that typically comes along with computer gear.

Artsy lighting is a great way to accessorize your home. Whether it is practical or not, these Bamboo Lights, manufactured by Yamagiwa are too cool. The designer, Pablo Reinoso was inspired by the varied uses of bamboo in Japan.

My husband and I have stepped up our exercise plan, to lose a few pounds by the holidays. Although fun, this scale wouldn’t do much for the encouragement factor for anyone trying to lose weight.

When you weigh yourself, instead of numbers, animals are displayed. You can see which animal you weigh. Yeah, it’s cute, until you weigh the same as a pig!

This past Christmas my parents hooked me up with the legit Stingermania illustration book by Netherlands critter designer extraordinaire, Zeptonn.

All of his illustrations are just plain fun and playful and worthy of display just about anywhere.

Now, wall decal outfit blik has released quite a few new Zeptonn products including a massive poster and character decals.
