Fall is upon us. The leaves here in Colorado are changing and are amazing colors of bright yellow and orange and the air is crisp.

Unfortunately along with the changing colors are also falling leaves…which means gutters are caked full of nature’s debris.

iRobot, makers of all things robotic, have created the iRobot Looj 130 Gutter Cleaning Robot to help you out.

Just drop the Looj in to your gutter, turn it on and let it make it’s way down your gutters for you and throw all that junk overboard.

If you’ve got a lot of gutter to go through, this is probably well worth the $130 it costs.

I have tried just about everything: lighting a candle, holding a matchstick in my mouth and placing a piece of onion on my head and nothing has worked for me yet! I am one of those that looks like her boyfriend just broke up with her, when I’m cutting an onion. The tears just pour!

I found this really cute new site that carries Onion Action Goggles. They are goggles that provide a seal around your eyes, so that the onion fumes don’t get to you. Very clever, but would it be stylish? Of course you would probably wouldn’t be wearing these in public unless you’re a chef in a restaurant.

You can get them in white, black or pink. I think they would be definitely worth giving a try. My husband would thank me, since I usually hand off the onion cutting to him.

Organic and stylish, these Wooden USB sticks are so original, from Dutch designers Guido Ooms and Karin van Lieshout.

What a great contrast to all of the metal that typically comes along with computer gear.
