Flying Carpet

Flying Carpet
Why waste time with boring rugs when you can have your own flying carpet?!?!

The Flying Carpet, by Nanimarquina, is a great way to liven up any room or play area for kids!

Each carpet is customized to your liking. You simply order the size rug you want and then order the “wedges” that give the carpet its “flying” look.

The downside? A single large carpet can set you back close to $1,500. Ouch.

Super Mario Bros Sound Effects Plush

Super Mario Plush
Who can forget those familiar tunes of Super Mario Brothers? Now you don’t have to. These plush toys can keep those fun sound effects fresh in your mind.

The Koopa Trooper shell and the Question block both have a sound module inside of their soft shell. Just be careful to not give this to a child who likes to listen to the noise over and over again. It could easily get annoying!

The Ice Cream Ball

Ice Cream Ball
Although summer has come and gone and the cool weather is starting up, that is no reason to forget about ice cream! This Ice Cream Ball looks like so much fun.

It’s quite simple to use. You just add the ingredients to the ball and shake it for about 20 minutes (that is the ball, not yourself). This is a great item to keep kids busy, pass around during a hike, or just get creative. Enjoy!

Bath Tub Chair

Chair Made from an old bath tub
It’s amazing what some people can do with something that might have been thrown out. Israeli design studio Reddish created a great piece of functional art out of an old bath tub.

I’m not sure how comfortable this would be, but it is so cool! Now if only there were a place for the rubber ducky……

Roll & Store Pin

Roll & Store

Kitchen gadgets can really take over your space if you’re not careful. This Roll & Store Pin at Wrapables is a great solution to hold all of those little extras that are lying around the kitchen.

It comes with cookie cutters that you can store in the pin, but it can also be used for other things. You can put ice cubes in the pin, if you needed to keep something chilled or to prevent dough from sticking to the pin. My only concern about this gadget is that it may be a bit noisy. Regardless, it’s a neat concept!

The ‘Green’ Folding Screen

Straw Screen

Perfect for a loft, or a big room that you would like to divide, this Rye Straw Screen is a great natural look with organic textures.

It’s not only practical, by defining a space for you, but it’s also art. This will set you back a bit, over $5,000, but it is something that very well could be a great conversation piece in your home.
